Every week for the next six weeks of program, we will use this space (Padlet) to share something new about our culture and/or language. Every week will have a specific topic, for example, this week is about Names!!! Some of us have names that may take other people, specially who speak a different language, a couple of times to pronounce right. Some of us have names that have a meaning, national origin, or a certain story behind them, but some also don't (ahem, over here!) :).
Studies have shown that pronouncing a person's name the correct way results in more meaningful connections and friendships that last longer :)
