Check In: Introdution to SDGs and Scientific Method(SM)

Hi Everyone! Time flies by indeed, as we are already one third through our program! Congratulations to those of you who made it through thus far. You surely have put in a lot of work and dedication and stepped out of your comfort zone in many instances. With that, we hope that you realize the growth that all of that surely caused for you. Seriously, give yourself a pat on the back for getting to this point!

Welcome to Module 2 Week 1! This module's theme will be about pollution. In this module, you will explore the different types of Pollution, their causes, and how STEAM can help combat it. At this point, you will also start formulating a project idea that you want to implement after the program concludes to solve a problem in your community. You will do that by reflecting on the new knowledge you have acquired throughout the program thus far, as well as collaborating with your peers on the different process steps.


Goals and Expectations

  • Explore the different forms of pollution in your communities;
  • Identify the root causes of a specific issue in your community by carefully crafting questions for you and your peers;
  • Design innovative solutions to your community issues;
  • Continue learning about new cultures as well as sharing about your own.
