Are you ready? We are going to ask you to engage with your community (safely and cautiously), once again. That's right! You are going to be a field veteran, and a community expert by the end of this program! Think about how fun that will be when people come visit you! You will know just the right spots to take them :)

Now, in this module, you were introduced to the UN's SDG #12 about Responsible Consumption and Production, and its relation to pollution. For this activity, you will be asked to watch the following videos, take a walk around your community (don't forget your mask!), and then draw comparisons by replying to the discussion questions below.

Task #1 - Watch the Below Videos about Different Types of Pollution:

Task #2 - Respond to Discussion Questions:

  1. From the three videos, which kind of pollution do you see most prevalent in your community? Provide examples of its forms, and share what effects is it having on your day to day life?
  2. Are you aware of any laws/regulations that prohibit or regulate these pollution sources?
  3. Tell us about an individual, a group of people, initiative or an organization that is tackling pollution and making a difference in your community. What are they doing? (Its OK if you have to conduct some online research about those resources)

Reply to two peer posts and share what your community could learn from theirs. How could the individual, group of people, or organization, that they mentioned make a difference in your community too?
